Privacy, plainly.

This notice explains the information Bright Artistry collects through this website, why we use it and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

Bright Artistry Ltd (company number 11550588) is responsible for the information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@brightartistry.com.

What we collect

If you contact us through this site, we collect your name, email address, optional company name and the note you choose to send. Name, email and a note are required so that we can respond; you do not have to use the form and can email us instead. We also receive basic technical information needed to run and protect the website, such as server logs.

Why we use it

We use contact details and your note to reply to an enquiry, discuss potential work and manage any resulting business relationship. Our legitimate interest is to respond to people who approach us and keep a record of those conversations. We use optional analytics only with your consent.

Who we share it with

Contact-form submissions are delivered through our email delivery provider, Resend. Our hosting provider processes the technical data needed to serve the site. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives limited site-use data. We do not sell personal information or send contact-form contents to Google Analytics.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics is off unless you choose to allow it. We remember that choice in your browser’s local storage until you change it. When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand pages viewed, broad traffic sources and device/browser information. It may set _ga and _ga_* cookies, which by default last up to two years. You can change your preference at any time; withdrawing it stops future analytics and clears these cookies where the browser allows.

Processing outside the UK

Resend primarily processes email data in the United States. Its data processing agreement includes safeguards for transfers from the UK. If analytics is enabled, Google may also process site-use information outside the UK. You can email us for details of the safeguards that apply to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless it becomes part of an ongoing client relationship or we need to retain it for a legal obligation.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain uses, or ask us to restrict processing. Email hello@brightartistry.com to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Your right to object

You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. Email hello@brightartistry.com. We will stop that use unless we have compelling grounds to continue or need the information for a legal claim.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our processing changes. The date above shows when it was last reviewed.
